  1. Good luck with your blog Mike. Unfortunately, the precident set by the Strand tends to subject all blogs to rudeness and disrespect.

  2. We'll see. John McCarthy's blog was making respectable headway in civility. The only drawback was he had a strong position that he wanted to promote. To his credit, he didn't allow abusive commentary to drown out reasonable discussion.

  3. So they're paying you Mikey to pretend this blog will be fair and balanced while you are actually manipulating the readers to accept the Molinaro Plan. Classic PR spin.

  4. No one is paying me to do this.

An important debate is under way and the public discussion is dominated by people who are opposed, some who exaggerate and falsify the evidence -- read that to mean spreading bullshit to influence public opinion.

The facts are being presented here and people are invited to make their comments.

This is my community too and I have a vested interest in its health. If the disaffected political wannabes, used-to-bes and backroom Cabal don't like it, they can kiss my ass. They have a vested interest in community dysfunction so that they have something to bitch about.

I note that you did not make a comment about the plan, and I also note that you did not sign your comment. What am I to conclude from that?

There is no comment moderation, but your post is subject to deletion if it contravenes the laws of Ontario and Canada as I understand them. Unfortunately, I can't edit out the offensive parts in a comment, so the whole thing will be gone. Generally, any comment that unfairly (underscore unfairly) impugns a person's reputation will be deleted.

You may post anonymously; however, you should understand that your opinions have more weight if you sign your name to them.
