Here's where you can debate Bay Beach

A lot of insults and name calling are still being flung on blogs which have made their opinions quite clear and where it is impossible to get a fair hearing for all sides on the issue. This is where you get your hearing.

Make your points, but don't expect information that you forward as fact to go unchallenged. You don't have to sign your name, but it is better that you do.

Let's get to the nub

It's been a few days since the last post. It seems as if the comments have played out and the vote stands at 11 for, 5 against, 1 maybe and 2 don't know.

Now, let's get to the nub.

What is the issue?

Underground parking

A question has been asked about the feasibility of parking.

"Can you clear up the underground parking for me. I have been told that it is impossible to build (due to the sand and being too close to the water) why would they say they can do it if they can't?"

Buffalo News sketches issue

Today's Buffalo News has published a story that fairly covers the main points of the issue.

However, the story says Molinaro will buy the land and provide access to the public. Not exactly. Molinaro will buy a portion of the uplands for the footprint of the building, underground parking and service access and the rest will remain public, including all the beach, the entrance to the beach and all the land north of Erie Road.

A portion of the footprint where the so-called "pavilion" will be built will be transferred back to the Town after construction.

About the Poll

Don't vote multiple times. There are tricks to weed out multiple votes to within a valid margin of error for public polling of this nature.

When you make a comment, the value of your opinion appreciates exponentially when you sign it. Leave fake comments if you must, but that course of action factors heavily in which direction people reach their conclusions.
